The Rogers Family
We’re Mandy and Eric — high school sweethearts who grew up in Indiana, went to Purdue University, and eventually began building our life together. After spending several years in Chicago, we moved to North Carolina in 2011 and quickly fell in love with the community we now call home.
What started as a simple strand of Christmas lights has grown into a tradition our whole family looks forward to each year. With the help of our boys, Cooper and Parker, our display has expanded into thousands of LED lights synchronized to music you can choose right from your car radio.
Our light show also carries a special, deeply personal meaning. In 2016, we welcomed our son Caden, who was born with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). We had four beautiful months with him before he passed away, and his short but powerful life changed ours forever. Each year, our display is dedicated in his honor — a way to keep his light shining and to share hope, joy, and connection with others.
For us, this isn’t just a holiday display. It’s a celebration of family, love, and the magic that Caden brought into our world. Thank you for being here and sharing this tradition with us. 🎄✨
